When should I start looking for a job for after graduation?

I%26#039;ll be starting my senior year of college in a month. My major is communications/public relations. I want to be sure to have a job as soon after graduation as possible.|||Go to your college Career Center and do research, ask lots of questions, start on your resume and a plan for marketing yourself - NOW. College Career Centers have many resources and resource people. Also look for Career Fairs...they are usually listed in your local newspapers, notices on bulletin boards as well as career centers. Most of all START NOW! Best wishes in your future endeavors.|||then start looking before you graduate or all the good jobs will already be filled!!!|||Right now. Send your resume` to as many radio and television stations as you can. Don%26#039;t forget the major large corporate broadcasters like Clearchanel, and Citadel.

Good luck.|||go to your college%26#039;s career services office. a friend of mine did an internship her final semester and they hired her full-time after she graduated. she%26#039;s out in new jersey making more money than some of my professors and she hasn%26#039;t even be out of school for a year.|||Check with your college%26#039;s career placement center. Also, if there is an alumni club, start networking and talking with them. Go to career fairs and there%26#039;s always Monster, the classifieds, etc.|||a good idea is to see if your college has a co-op or intern or new grad program where companies come by to hire students and possibly offer a job to new graduates. This gets you foot in the door and gain good experience.|||January is good.
