I%26#039;m planning on going out a buying some new clothes for my new job as a CAD tech and the interview? What kind of clothes would be most appropriate and yet fashionable for a 21 year old female?|||You%26#039;re going shopping anyway, right? Go to your local mall and go someplace like Sears or JC Penny%26#039;s. They carry a wide selection of professional clothes that won%26#039;t offend most anyone. Black is considered my some people as too severe and even depressing so avoid a lot of black. White and cream can make you look old in a bad way and are awful to keep clean.
Go for suit pants and blazer in grays/dark blues/earth tones. Look for a material that is not too heavy and not scratchy as you%26#039;re going to be a little nervous already and do not need your clothes to be bothering you. The pants should ride at or just below your belly button. Keep in mind that professional settings are not the place for low rise pants. Flat front pants look better on most people, pleats just serve to make you look bigger than you are no matter what your size.
Make sure that the blazer matches the pants in color and material. When you try it on, hang your hands down by your sides. The cuffs should hang JUST below your wrist in this position. Buttons should be a neutral color so that blouses won%26#039;t clash with them.
Blouse - patterned, not too loudly. Red is a good strong color, as are a rich blue or emerald green so long as they are part of a pattern that mixes well with whatever color suit you choose. You want a feminine cut on the blouse but watch the cleavage issue! Some showing is ok but remember that you could be interviewing with ANYONE and not everyone appreciates that view. Again, buttons should be a neutral point if there are any showing.
Accesories - neutral and practical handbag - do not forget a pen. Shoes should be of complenting color to suit -black with gray and blue, earth tones with earth tones. Heeled but not by too much and be sure you can walk well in them. Stumbling is not impressive. Rings to a minimum, earrings/necklace that complement the shirt in an understated way, necklace VERY optional.
DO NOT FORGET - copy of your resume, contacts list, short list of any questions you may have, brush your teeth and tongue, wear deodorant, NO PERFUME (they may be allergic)
Best of luck, if you need help that%26#039;s what the sales ladies are FOR. Take them a list of what you think you need.|||A simple white blouse with a skirt/blazer set is always nice and appropriate. Pants suits or casual yet elegant dresses work well too. Khaki slacks or skirts work well, as do nice Sunday-type shoes and pantyhose. Good luck!|||pick out something that cute but doesn%26#039;t look like you tried too hard ,like a pants suite just remember it takes just the right necklace or bracelet to make a sort -of- business outfit into the right and fashionable business attire hope that helps =)!!!!!!!!|||Je croyais trouver du français sur un site canadien , je me trompais !! vive le Québec libre!|||buy yourself a hoochie mama dress. it will catch every guys eye in the place, and get you a really good bonus in the future.|||Wear high-heel strappy shoes and a pencil length skirt not too bright a dark color like dark blue or black maybe. Wear a tank top under a Suit jacket that is the same color as the skirt and make the tank to ANY COLOR EXCEPT WHITE!!!!!|||The problem with job interviews is that you don%26#039;t know the likes and dislikes of the interviewer. Therefore it%26#039;s best to look confident, serious, and neutral. Choose a suit (jacket and pants or skirt) in a classic color, nothing too bright or flashy. Choose a bright colored shirt to go underneath to show that your are a fashionable 21 year old. You never know with interviewers, they can be turned off by anything; too much perfume, too much makeup. I%26#039;ve even heard interviewers say they don%26#039;t like long fingernails!! That%26#039;s why it%26#039;s best to be a little conservative. After the interview, take a tour of the place to see what other employees are wearing. Dress in the same manner or take it up a notch.|||well u gotta wear sumthin sexii but at the same time, sumthin that will show u a very smart and itellectual.|||it is defiantely a good idea to stick with pant or suit set.. A nice skirt with a representable coat will do just fine.. Try to stay with darker colors too, just to be on the safe side..
Remember not alot of jewerly or perfume, because people can be allergic. To prep you for the questions at the interview you should check out this website it was very helpul for me and my friends.....
good luck.|||A dress suit for an interview always seem appropriate or dress pants with a blazer.
Do not wear too much jewelry, try to keep it simple.
good luck!|||Dress professionally, whatever the type of job. Slacks or a skirt, nice blouse, and jacket would be good. Even if you can be casual when you actually work there, it%26#039;s much better to present yourself more formally and professionally for an interview.|||something that%26#039;ll make you look nice and presentable|||Hmmm...well I just have a few thoughts hope they help!
1. If its like a buisness job a suit (Jacket and Skirt or Pants)
2. If its just a job like a skirt and blouse
3. Make sure you know your etiquette skills
4. Make sure you where something nice
5. Remember to Smile
