How to ensure your job appilication is read by employer?

I am a banker looking to change from my present job. I have tried sending my CV to some employers by seeing ads given on job sites like Monster but have got no response from any of them.

How to go about searching and finding the right job? Does reference helps?|||to ensure your application gets looked at, you have to bring it in, in person and ask to speak with the manager. or better yet, call in advance and try to make an appointment.|||Most kitchen jobs hire face to face so there should be no problems.|||All applications are screened by one or more persons first. Say they get 100 for one job. The screener will start pulling out the ones with the greatest background and skills first.

References help, but you have to get your app looked at first. You may want to go to your local banks first to see what openings they have. They%26#039;d be more likely to want you first, because you likely already know whatever banking laws exist, including those with the Federal Reserve. Plus, you%26#039;re more likely to know the clientele (community) and economic conditions.
