Pls. help. I need an immediate job but I am looking for a job that is lesser responsibility than a managerial job.I was in a managerial position before but was fired because of my weak leadership ability. I%26#039;m afraid to apply again as manager and planning to apply as staff only. Is there a possibility that I will be hired as staff considering my long experience and high salary in my previous job? What should I tell during the interview?|||In the present job climate your task could be somewhat easier, most employers are looking for people who have a lot of experience to work for their organization.
They are offering wages that doesn%26#039;t fit the requirements of your expertise though so, a person like you could find a job quite easily in the present job market.
You haven%26#039;t mentioned your age, Your age may also play a part, if you are youngish, you have a great chance, if you are around middle age then you will find it much more difficult.
That isn%26#039;t the end of it either, you will need to take a drastic wage cut, would your lifestyle at the moment stand the test?
Obviously you will have to learn to take orders from your boss
you are not used to doing that, you was the one giving the orders. (Asking politely) from your statement you sound like a boss most workers would want to take over from because you are a pushover.
The work place is full of those vermin, especially in the office environment, because you are a nice %26quot;Person%26quot; they take the piss.
I wish you good luck in your search.|||Look to change the nature of work which you unfamilar with. Although having a manager background may help the company in the long run, they won%26#039;t put an unexperienced person in that position.
I%26#039;ve been in the position where being #2 is much better than the boss or manager. You might make 5K less per year, but the headaches are much less in the long run. You may be looking at making a touch less money, but you can look to move up back to a manager spot in the future since you have the prior experience.|||Apply for low profile jobs, BUT make sure you have a professional CV.
Your CV in the 1st glance should highlight your experience period - dont make them calculate it by mentioning so many years worked with so and so Co,s
Highlight the key abilities or duties as in a Professional CV
and apply.
Dont demand high-profile-job%26#039;s salary. Careful.
They ask: Negotiable? Reply: Let me know your offer and I would reply later.
I think it helps..
