I started a 2 day training program for a new job this past weekend. I have not signed the contract to work for them yet, and already am having doubts about working for this company.
How should I resign? Is a phone call OK, do I go to the owner in person, or is an Email sufficient?|||Tell them you changed your mind and won%26#039;t be signing the contract. It is up to you to decide if you want to tell them why, They will live fine without you, and the sun will come up in your morning too.|||I did not say anything about God when I mentioned the sun coming up. IN case it wasn%26#039;t clear, the sun comes up every day with or without your god, my God, or anyone else god or Gods. It just does, because of the way the eath orbits the sun and rotates on its axis. Report Abuse
|||Since you have not signed the contract question of resigning does not arise. But, As you have already started training, I suggest you to finish the training if possible. You may start liking the job. If you are very sure about your decision, Please meet the HR personally and let him/her know that you are not available for the job.|||You should approach the owner in person, and tell him you don%26#039;t think you are suited to the job, and apologise for any inconvenience to him.|||It%26#039;s always better to do it in person. It shows strength of character to them, and it builds character in you.
