How do you get a Job overseas and about applying for working visa?

I%26#039;m a Singaporean studying in Melbourne, Aus, who is going to graduate this year with a Bachelor of Communication Design - Hons. (aka. Graphic Design). I was thinking of applying job to design studios overseas like UK, US, etc... I wonder how should I go about enquiring about the procedure? Thanks!
