How can you get a job in a different career field than your work experience? and Get an interview.?

My experience is 15 yrs in mtg lending. I want to pursue a position as a Account Manger with a Health Company. The job duties just require maintaing accounts and increasing business. I have the degree required but not the 4 yrs in Healthcare Management.|||I don%26#039;t really know what those two fields do, but what you need to do is show what you do have and find a way to relate it to the new field. In mtg lending did you ever have to get new accounts? talk with clients? Just take each aspect of the healthcare mngmt and show how you have done that with your mtg lending career.





I just got a job in a science field and my degrees are in criminal justice and forensics. I had to tailor my answers to suit their needs. It wasn%26#039;t lying, it was just showing how while I didn%26#039;t have a bio major or a job in a bio field I did perform tasks similar to those they were seeking, just in a different light and from a different background.
