Where to stay during a job hunt in Singapore?

I just got my employment pass eligibility certificate (epec) and i%26#039;m planning to go to Singaore this April to look for a job. Do you know where is the best location to stay? Maybe you could help me find a cheap apartment to stay. Thanks!|||try this. look for a room to rent to stay while u search for your job... and once u settled down in your job u can look for a place that is nearer to your office to save travelling cost.|||go and find a local newspaper. You can find there property agents. There are rooms for rent, you can stay while job hunting. You can choose your room in line with your budget.

You can stay for a while to a backpackers or hostels (www.hostelworld.com) for one or two nights (or couple of days) stay while you search for a room which you will reside in while you look for work. Try hostels first and then look for the proper and a place that fits you and your budget through property agents. Just give them a call, and they will surely be ready to help you.

If you have friends or relatives ask their help to help you around. If not follow my advice above. Good luck!

You will love Singapore. The place is terrific!|||do not worry about apartments to rent

there a lot of advertisement around regarding renting

basically the island is a bit over built with too much flats|||This is not really the answer but I just want to ask you about the job pass I also looking for the job in Singapore and can you give me the advice for the pass? How can I do with that?

Can i ask where are you from I%26#039;m from Thailand and my husband is from France and both of us will go to Singapore.

For the apartment or the room may be you can try to check this website www.singaporeexpats.com

Nice to meet you|||i guess it would be cheaper to rent a room than the whole apartment, you can try go to 88db to look for rooms or residential property for rent....good luck
